What is a French Negligee?
There are quite a few types of negligee and so it can certainly be hard to keep track, but one of the most popular by far is the French negligee. The negligee is a woman’s dressing gown which is usually a bit loose but often tighter up at the top near the bust area. It is typically made of very soft, delicate fabric such as satin or lace.
